This colorful event will start on Sunday, November 20th, and continue through January 1st, New Year’s Day.
About 70 animated and stationary displays of multicolored lights will amaze you as you drive through Maryland’s scenic Sandy Point State Park. This festival of lights has given attendees an unforgettable experience for more than a quarter of a century.
Every year the SPCA of Anne Arundel County hosts Lights on the Bay, and proceeds from this unique and spectacular light show will benefit the organization’s charitable foundation for animals.
Hosting Lights on the Bay, Sandy Point State Park will leave all those who visit amazed by its scenic views. Open throughout the year, the 786-acre Maryland State Park is located on the Northwestern shore of the magnificent Chesapeake Bay.
Lights and Leashes
The SPCA of Anne Arundel County and Anne Arundel Medical Center invites you to be part of their Annual “Lights and Leashes” which is held just before Lights on the Bay begins. Dates will be confirmed by the website below.
During this event families and their four-legged friends may leave their cars and view the light show on foot and paw. After being wowed by holiday lights, the vendor area will offer food and hot beverages for people and pets, along with a varied assortment of pet-related merchandise and adoptable animals.
